Micro Powders, Inc. will debut several new products at the 2023 European Coatings Show.
NatureTex is the industry’s first line of naturally derived, biodegradable additives for matting and surface texturing. It is available in four particle sizes that offer a range of haptic effects along with efficient gloss reduction and burnish resistance.
Another naturally derived product, NatureMatte C44, is an ultrafine cellulose powder that provides gloss reduction in all types of inks and coatings, while offering best-in-class film clarity for clear coatings on wood and other substrates.
Also highlighted at stand 5-440 will be MP-28AL, a value engineered composite of biodegradable synthetic wax and aluminum oxide. This additive powder provides high surface lubricity with rub and scratch resistance and is an economical alternative to PTFE combination powders.
PolyTuf 1229 is a high-performance composite of low density polyethylene and ceramic that expands our portfolio of ceramic modified additives. This product combines the toughness and durability of LDPE with the unsurpassed improvement in abrasion resistance contributed by the ceramics inside the composite wax particle. PolyTuf 1229 is ideal for higher COF coating applications such as flooring and walking surfaces.
