    Buckman is introducing two new flash and early rust inhibitors for the water-based coatings market, Butrol 331 and Butrol 334. Butrol 331 and Butrol 334 products are recommended for use at levels of 0.1% - 1.0% based on the total formula weight. Both products inhibit flash and early rust however, Butrol 331 was modified to help control flash and early rusting on yellow metals like copper.

    Cognis Corp. has been an important supplier of dry film preservatives/mildewcides to the coatings industry for many years and was responsible for the development and introduction of Chlorothalonil to the market.
