The American Concrete Institute (ACI) plans to open a third resource center in Columbia, MD to serve the Mid-Atlantic concrete industry. The center is anticipated to open business on September 5.
According to ACI, the new center will meet increased demands for knowledge and hands on training, educational offerings, and access to ACI Certification Programs. A variety of custom training programs are offered that are designed to communicate required skills and demonstrate test methods I to achieve certification.
“The newest ACI Resource Center is strategically located in the Mid-Atlantic region to continue expanding access to ACI knowledge in large markets of the concrete construction industry,” said ACI, FACI, FASTM Certification Program development manger Michael Morrison.
Educational programs offered include topics such as design, fundamentals, repair, slabs, and more. Additional certification events at the center can be found on their website.
