INTRODUCTION:
Significant developments in inkjet technology continue to emerge as the need for improved print speeds, quality, versatility and resolution increases. One important innovation in this field is the development of better-quality raw materials for inkjet colors, such as micronized pigments.
For example, iron oxide pigments are usually ground in beater mills, bowl mills or disk mills. A small portion of the pigment remains as aggregates that are difficult to disperse in liquid binder by grinding equipment such as bead mills or sand mills.
