Visitors to hall 7.2, booth B39 learned about how radiation curing technology is an effective zero-VOC, reduced waste, fast curing alternative for composite manufacturing, including filament winding, pre-pregging and pultrusion. In this context, Allnex specifically featured its EBECRYL® UV-curable resins.
Allnex promoted VIAPAL Gel Coats for sanitary applications and VIAPAL® Gel Coats and Barrier Coats for pools and boats. These high-performance sprayable and brushable products, based on unsaturated polyester resins, offer superior color stability, excellent deaeration and very high elongation. They do not suffer from flocculation/pigment floating issues and offer superior high warm water and thermo shock resistance. VIAPAL unsaturated polyester resins are suitable for both open and closed mold systems.
