Due to the speed of automotive advancement and the industry's efforts to meet higher fuel efficiency standards, there is greater importance and growth of automotive-grade adhesives, sealants and surface technologies in future vehicle development. Henkel Adhesive Technologies is currently offering tier one automotive suppliers and automakers tours of its automotive headquarters to demonstrate its innovative processes to meet these demands.
Tour attendees are invited to visit Henkel's automotive campus, located at 32100 Stephenson Highway, Madison Heights, Michigan, based on their specific need or interest. Each tour will highlight key technologies that drive the industry forward, as well as address the manufacturing processes for custom technology development.
Tours can be arranged by technology or topic, based on the following:
Tours are open to tier one automotive suppliers and OEMs, who can schedule a live tour and take a virtual tour to learn more about Henkel's capabilities.
Tours can be scheduled between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and will be offered throughout 2015.

- Cost efficiency. Henkel provides several cost-effective solutions to choose from, such as autodeposition coatings, composite resin solutions, advanced gasketing and high damping foam, which is used for noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) management.
- E-mobility. Henkel's advanced gasketing, low-pressure molding and high damping foam can help make electric vehicles cleaner and more cost efficient to produce.
- Lightweighting. Henkel has developed technologies designed to advance the industry's efforts to lightweight vehicles and meet increasing fuel-efficiency standards including metal pre-treatments (magnesium coatings, all-aluminum coatings), structural adhesives and composite resin solutions.
- Manufacturing process. Henkel's metal pre-treatments, structural adhesives, composite resin solutions and high damping foam offer seamless integration and increased productivity in manufacturing.
- Safety and comfort. Henkel structural adhesives, liquid optically clear adhesives and high damping foam manage and improve the feel of luxury in vehicles.
- Sustainability. Henkel's commitment to sustainable practices and processes is represented through a number of technologies, including cleaners and lubricants; metal pre-treatments for all-aluminum coatings; and liquid applied sound deadeners.
