Resinate Materials Group has announced that Rick Tabor has been promoted to the position of Chief Technology Officer. In his new role, Tabor assumes responsibility for the operational excellence of Resinate’s science, technology, and development function.
“Rick came to Resinate with extensive experience in the specialty chemicals industry,” said Brian Chermside, Resinate President and COO. “His market and technical knowledge are tremendous assets to Resinate in our pursuit of high-performance green chemistry innovation.”
Tabor joined Resinate in 2013, after a successful 30 year career serving in R&D and business development roles at Stepan Company and Dow Chemical. Throughout his career, Mr. Tabor has been named on over 40 patents and has authored 15 technical publications. He holds a BSc in Chemistry from Texas A&M University.
In his new role, Mr. Tabor will continue to be located at Resinate’s Plymouth, Michigan technology center.
