Lynn Walters was named West Coast Regional Sales Manager of Kemper System America, Inc., the company announced Tuesday in a press release.
His responsibilities will include expanding sales and educating architects, consultants and contractors across the region about the company’s range of barrier solutions for the building envelope, the release states.
Previously, Walters, who resides in the San Francisco area, was the national sales manager and product manager representing HeatBloc-ULTRATM radiant heat barrier for STS Coatings, which Kemper acquired last year.
Walters serves on the board of directors of the Reflective Insulation Manufacturers Association (RIMA), and as committee chair for the Strategic Alliance for the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA). He is also a member of the Cool Roof Rating Council, RCI, and ASTM International.
He also spent 12 years as the west coast sales manager for the OEM Building Products Division of BASF.
