The Chemical Coaters Association International said that several CCAI chapters held events to benefit charitable organizations in their local areas. This year, chapters that participated include Alabama, Central States, Southern California, Twin Cities, and Wisconsin. They collected toy and cash donations for charities in their region.
Nearly 2,000 toys and $1,300 were collected and distributed to Toys for Tots, Kids 2 Kids and Angel Tree Program charities. Each chapter organized a special event to bring association members together to support the organizations in need.
“We are fortunate to have so many thoughtful and generous members who truly enjoy giving at this time of year,” Executive Director of CCAI Anne Goyer said. “We’re proud that CCAI chapters support local charities, especially those for children. It’s heartwarming to hear the stories from our chapters across the country.”
