President of Division Advanced Materials & Systems Research Harald Lauke, 60, will retire April 30, 2019, and Jeffrey Jianfeng Lou, 50, SVP, Battery Materials, BASF (China) Company Ltd., Shanghai, will take his place on May 1, BASF announced.
The research division Advanced Materials & Systems Research, with headquarters at BASF’s Innovation Campus Asia Pacific in Shanghai, develops new structural materials, dispersions, functional materials as well as organic and inorganic additives for a wide range of customers from the automotive and construction industries, packaging, coatings, home and personal care and pharmaceutical.
