Patrick W. Milton, 72, of Spring Lake, died on Monday, Oct. 14, 2019.
Milton was born and raised on Long Island.
He lived in Short Hills, N.J. for many years, before moving to Spring Lake in 2004.
He graduated from St. Paul’s, Garden City, N.Y. and St. Leo University, in Florida, before embarking on a distinguished sales career with the family business, Milton Can Co., of Elizabeth, NJ.
He was a member of the N.Y. Paint and Coatings Association, as well as of Pine Valley and Baltusrol Golf Clubs. He also was Past-President of the Racquets Club of Short Hills and served on the Board of Trustees for both Elizabeth General Medical Center and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Elizabeth (nee Lynch) and their children, Patrick Milton, of Denver; Timothy and his wife Kim Milton, of New York; and Elizabeth and her husband Conor McCoy, of Jersey City.
Also, surviving are four grandchildren, Declan, Maggie and Charlotte Milton, and Conor Patrick McCoy, as well as Milton’s brother, James W. Milton, of Florida, and his sister-in-law, Eileen Milton, also of Florida.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake, on Friday, Oct.18, 2019, at 10:30 AM, followed by interment at St. Anne Cemetery, Wall. Condolences may be sent via www.obrienfuneralhome.com
