JNS-Smithchem announced it will be distributing Orion Engineered Carbons' products, includes its specialty gas blacks, furnace blacks, lamp blacks, and thermal carbon blacks.
“Orion is a world leader in carbon blacks with very unique products for several of the markets we serve,” said Bob Whiteley, executive VP, JNS-SmithChem. “Its product line complements our existing lines of pigments and brings value into several areas we already serve. With the recent opening of their technical service and applications lab in New Jersey, we are in a great position to service our customer base.”
The distribution partnership will focus on the paints, coatings, inks, adhesives and plastics markets and covers the territory of New England, New York, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.
