The Eastern Coatings Federation announced that the 2025 Eastern Coatings Show was a major success.
“We continued to have strong attendance this year with 1,200 attendees,” said Chuck Jones, president of the Eastern Coatings Show. “The high energy was evident from the opening reception to the close of the exhibit hall.”
The Eastern Coatings Show featured more than 120 exhibitors and featured 42 technical presentations. The first full day opened with Sully Sullivan, president of DayGlo Color Corporation, presenting the keynote titled “Manufacturing in the Age of Social Media: Why Making Stuff Matters.”
The panel discussion continued with helping the industry look forward by discussing the topic “Investing Financial and Intellectual Capital in an Ever-Changing Market,” with featured George Pilcher of ChemQuest, Dan Pickard at Buchanan, and David Witker from Benjamin Moore.
For the third time, the show hosted a networking event, Businesswomen in Coatings, which offered both technical and marketing professionals the opportunity to meet their peers and exchange ideas.
The Rick Mazzariello Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dave White of Pan Technologies. The Pflaumer Brothers Most Outstanding Paper Award was given to Mike Praw of Indorama Ventures, for using simulation to select additives, and the Outstanding Paper Award was given to Michelle Gallagher at Dow for a paper evaluating acrylic bio-based polymers.
The next Eastern Coatings Show will take place May 4-6, 2027, in Atlantic City, NJ.
