Sales:
- Assisting in expansion of company with new sales and customers.
- Complete sales process from initiation to close.
- Complete contract (quote and orders) from initiation to close for new customers and new projects.
- Reports new customer/project updates, issues, and shipping, while also communicating with customer and returning calls promptly.
- Tracking and logging sales, customers, etc. using data entry.
- Keeps management and Quality Department informed of customer expatiations and concerns.
- Maintaining and increasing profit margin and managing to budget.
- Responsible for coating knowledge per customer, and usage by item.
- Responsible for prototypes, including spraying and process sheet design.
- Periodically reviews cost analyses with appropriate management.
- Responsible for environmental compliance.
- Responsible for the compliance of company policy, governmental regulations, and departmental policy, as it applies to the department and as directed by president of company.
- Performs specifically assigned projects and jobs as requested by president of company.
- Follow up on work in progress for new customers and new projects.
- Assist Plant Supervisor, and Operation Manager in areas of scheduling by notifying them of orders needing to be expedited.
- Attend production meetings to stay current with customer needs. Keep production supervisors informed of all pertinent information regarding special masking, handling etc. for new customers and new projects.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required in Sales, Business Management or other related discipline.
- Or a minimum of five to seven years related experience, or a combination of education and experience in the coating industry/surfacing finishing.
- Exemplary computer experience in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Gmail and Teams.
- Strong working knowledge of sales incentive plans required.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to gain trust and build relationships.
