At an Indianapolis presentation ceremony prior to the opening of the 2018 American Coatings Show, Akzo Nobel’s Performance Additives Group presented their distributor, Superior Materials, Inc., with Akzo’s 2017 Distributor of the Year award for sales of the Bermocoll EHEC rheological additives line.
Steve Grant, Commercial Manager North America, and Paul Eason, Global Business director for Paint, recognized the team from Superior Materials for an unprecedented increase in sales from 2016, which already had been Superior’s best sales year to date for Bermocoll. Steve Grant attributed the continuous growth to Superior’s “persistent focus on matching the customer’s needs to product benefits.”
Superior’s President, Steve Kafka, noted that “our partner’s responsiveness and technical team support are invaluable to our ongoing success.” Superior, who has represented Akzo for 13 years, has earned this award 4 times for the Bermocoll® line as well as multiple times for the Akzo ELOTEX redispersible polymer line of products. Frank Grootnibbelink, Global Business Director of Building and Construction, sent his congratulations as well.
