The annual Metro New York Coatings Assocation (MNYCA) Holiday Party was held on December 1 at Iberia Tavern & Restaurant in Newark, NJ. 200 members and guests kicked off the holiday season in style- and cocktails and Portuguese cuisine made for a festive and lively evening. Five Paint Pioneer Awards were given to members who have dedicated 25, 40 and 50 years to the coatings industry. Honorees included Dave Barnish and Frank Winkelman of Kop-Coat/Pettit Paint, Charles Plaveczky and Frank Ortiz of Seagrave Coatings and Steve Knight of King Industries.
