Kelly-Moore’s 2020 Color of the Year is KM5183 Sun God.
“There’s definitely a surge toward more colorful livable rooms with quirky shapes and personal touches,” said Shannon Kaye, who recently joined Kelly-Moore as the company’s Color Marketing manager. “We’re excited about this trend, as some of our favorite colors are finally seeing the light of day.
“Pinks are fading into the sunset becoming dusty and warm as mossy greens and ink
y blues expand into furniture, rugs, decorative art, and textiles,” Kaye added. “Mixed with punches of bold hues and exaggerated jewel tones this unexplored palette combines the sleek mass-produced deco look of the 60s and 80s with natural materials, and a clean European aesthetic.”
Other colors include KM5527 Dragon’s Fire (a flamboyant magenta), and KM4833 Camping Trip (chalky green) mixed with KM4994 Silver Blueberry (soft indigo), HLS4261 Tiffany Amber (golden tan), and soft off whites like KM4548 Bobcat Whiskers and KMW23 Bechamel.
