PPG and Nationwide Accident Repair Services announced an extension of their Paint and Dry Goods agreement for another five years.
The renewed partnership agreement sees PPG continue to be the preferred paint partner to the NARS group and confirms PPG Refinish Systems, paint mixing and Color IT solutions to be used across the 97 Nationwide Crash Repair centers, 21 rapid repair centers; as well as future acquisitions and the Nationwide fleet of 80 mobile repair vans.
The partnership confirms BROWN BROTHERS as the distribution channel for PPG Refinish paint systems and dry goods to the NARS group; which also sees NARS continuing to benefit from PPG’s unique and expanding BODYLINE consumables range as well as full product training and technical support across the group.
PPG has strengthened its partnership with Nationwide through introducing latest paint technologies and working closely with paint operatives and site managers to establish comprehensive support programs to drive best in class repair methods across the group.
To complement this PPG have also delivered a series of training programs to Nationwide both on-site and at PPG’s Technical Centre in Stowmarket; assisted by a bespoke PPG and NARS Refinish Manual and framework which has provided new opportunities to refresh and retrain technicians in right first-time methods.
Through the PPG partnership, NARS have seen measurable improvements to skills, knowledge, engagement, and confidence of paint operatives, which in turn has contributed to reduced cycle time and Key to Key across the NARS group.
“We have a long-standing and excellent relationship with PPG and it is a testament to their market leading proposition and first class support levels that we enter into the next 5 years of our partnership,” said Michael Wilmshurst, CEO Nationwide Accident Repair Services Ltd. “At Nationwide providing the right solution first time, every time is key to delivering great customer service; and this is mirrored by PPG. Their expertise and commitment help us develop as a business to provide Quality, Service, and Speed of repair.”
“It is an incredibly exciting time for PPG and NARS as both businesses grow and we continue to evolve together. The renewed agreement cements a true partnership approach which has grown from strength to strength,” added David Heal, PPG Refinish UK & Ireland market director. “The renewal of the partnership for a further 5 years is a testament to the teams’ exceptional level of support to Nationwide through PPG’s product, training, technical proposition, and partnership approach.”
