Beckers Group recently signed the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact and thus joined the initiative as a signatory.
The company already included the global Sustainable Development Goals in its framework, reports according to GRI standards and has a rating of supplier standards via EcoVadis. Signing the UN Global Compact means that Beckers will from now on systematically report on the progress with the 10 principles and connect it to the GRI report.
“The 10 principles give businesses clear guidelines on responsible behavior,” said Nicklas Augustsson, global sustainability director “We have adhered to those standards before and with joining the Global Compact as signatory we make binding commitments to following through with actions and reporting on our progress.”
