Over the last six months, Sheboygan Paint Company completed several hires that the company said put the right structure and capabilities behind its execution plans.
The new leadership hires will accelerate technology rejuvenation and development, create a strong focus around return on investment, and further strengthen operational performance and service, according to SPC.
Steve Shaffer arrived in September 2020 to take on the role of site manager for the Sheboygan, Wisconsin facility.
Shaffer held several manufacturing leadership roles at various Valspar locations before most recently running AkzoNobel’s aerospace site in Waukegan, Illinois.
Bryan Ulin joined as the company’s CFO.
Before SPC, Ulin served as finance manager at Tennant Coatings and has additional experience as a consultant with DLC and in multiple corporate finance positions at Robert Bosch Tool Corporation.
In January 2021, Cynthia Baricos took over as technical director, managing the labs in Wisconsin and Georgia.
She previously held management roles at Dow, Valspar, Baxter and most recently Sherwin Williams.
In February, Steve Cooke took on the role of VP of sales and customer service.
Cooke has extensive international experience in operations, sales and business management at PPG and more recently within the metals industry with privately help companies.
Cooke will be responsible for designing and driving focused go-to-market strategies and optimizing customer service.
