AGC Chemicals Americas has introduced a new line of Fluon AH-ETFE adhesive compounds that are ideal for applications requiring unsurpassed conductivity levels, chemical resistance, permeation resistance and protection against static build-up. When manufactured with Fluon AH-ETFE, components such as liquid lines, vapor lines, fuel tanks and filler necks exhibit outstanding performance in any construction. Fluon ETFE is a melt processable copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and ethylene. When compounded with additives that promote adhesion, this next generation of compounds contributes to improved performance, extended life and exceptional mechanical strength. The AH-600 series produces a lower melting compound that offers a wider process window and better compatibility with polyamide nylons for co-extrusion. The AH-700 series of products balances performance and economy.
