PPG Industries' automotive refinish business has enhanced the ONECHOICE universal ancillary brand with the addition of SUA1080 UV Primer and SU1081 UV Primer Post Wipe. SUA1080 employs the latest aerosol primer technology to combine high build with an industry-leading cure speed, by ultraviolet (UV) lamp, of only 2 minutes. The primer is recommended for spot repairs and improves cycle time. After SUA1080 UV Primer has cured, a wipedown with SU1081 UV Primer Post Wipe quickly prepares the surface for sanding. SUA1080 is suitable for a range of substrates such as properly prepared steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, polyester body fillers, fiber glass and rigid and semirigid plastic (except polyethylene and polystyrene). It is also suitable for use with all original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and PPG refinish paint systems.
