Sika Automotive has announced that Dr. Steve Davis, Laboratory Manager for Sika Automotive R&D group, is a guest panelist at the 2nd Annual North American Automotive Metals Conference, being held on September 14th and 15th at the Dearborn Inn, Dearborn, Michigan.
With advanced adhesive technology fast becoming an integral part of automotive OEMs’ manufacturing strategy, there is a strong interest in understanding how new joining solutions can be used with conventional and lightweight metals, as well as with mixed materials.
Davis will be a panelist at the Keynote Panel, “A Year On: Steel, Aluminum, OEM and Joining Considerations,” on Wednesday, September 14th, at 8:45 AM. He will present and discuss how adhesive technology can impact the application of different materials in the automotive industry - with specific lessons taken from current production vehicles.
