The Bodo Möller Chemie Group opened a new office in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. At the new location, Bodo Möller Chemie is offering specialty adhesives, epoxy resins, additives and pigments from suppliers like Huntsman Advanced Materials, Huntsman Textile Effects and DowDuPont for the automotive, coatings, textile and construction industry.
“We are happy about this step.” said Frank Haug, CEO of the international Bodo Möller Chemie Group. “Our presence enables us to effectively serve customers in Kenya and neighboring countries. Kenya is the hub for East Africa, with an own office in Nairobi, we will be present in a very dynamic part of Africa.”
So far, the Sub-Saharan region has been served by two offices in South Africa which were founded in 2011.
The Kenya office will be managed by Philip Kamau.
“It is an exciting role as part of the Sub-Saharan team, which has already made a name for itself for expert and solution-focused distribution,” said Mark Hepburn, managing director of Bodo Möller Chemie in South Africa.
Apart from the Sub-Saharan business the Bodo Möller Chemie Group operates further offices in Morocco and Egypt for covering the Maghreb region.
