AkzoNobel will exhibit at SEMA booth #25163, where attendees will be able to view famous custom cars from hot rod builder Dave Kindig, learn about the McLaren/AkzoNobel partnership, and request and observe product demonstrations.

- McLaren/AkzoNobel Press Conference: McLaren Chief Operating Officer Simon Roberts will speak about the company’s 10-year partnership with AkzoNobel. McLaren relies on AkzoNobel’s coatings technology to provide color, protection and performance for its Formula 1 racing team, using the premium Sikkens brand for its F1 cars;
- Carbeat: This software system developed for body repair shops was launched at last year’s show. The system digitizes the repair process on a touch screen monitor and makes it available to managers, team leads, technicians and third parties, improving transparency and communication. Since launch, the software has been optimized with new reporting, scheduling and tracking capabilities, enhanced search functions and more;
- MIXIT: In alignment with AkzoNobel’s tradition of developing leading digital color techniques and technologies, MIXIT is a color identification and retrieval system, which uses cloud-based software to give users immediate access to its vast database of more than 2 million colors and variants. MIXIT meets the industry’s need for greater accuracy and greater efficiency in color matching.
