Nix Color Sensor, makers of the Nix Mini, Nix Pro and Nix QC, created a new product for retailers and paint professionals: The Color Match Toolkit.
The Color Match Toolkit gives customers a way to start and finish their next paint project by providing them with a mobile color scanner and digital fan decks right at their fingertips, as well as a way to book a contractor right through their free app. It also gives stores a way to move from swatches to sales, fast.
“The Color Match Toolkit gives homeowners the power to capture color with a simple scan and turn it into a paint match,” said Matt Sheridan, CEO and founder of Nix Color Sensor. “With the Color Match Toolkit, it’s like you’re lending out your best paint store associate, your fan decks, plus a color consultant, and all in one portable package. Customers are able to confidently create their own personalized palettes based on their home décor choices which gives paint stores customers who are ready to buy.”
The Color Match Toolkit works with its free accompanying app, Paint With Chip, to give stores a digitized paint department, on-the-go color matching, and marketing support. It can be used as a rental piece or loaner item, depending on a store’s business strategy.
“Our goal is to offer more than just a product. We want to offer a solution to businesses who are looking to increase their paint sales and build an innovative customer experience,” Sheridan said. “This tool, along with the included tech and advertising support, gives stores what they need to build and market a color journey for their customers in a way that’s safe, simple and cost effective.”
