Via the newly founded SIC Holding, Peter Möhrle Holding (PMH) is taking over Klumpp Coatings GmbH, which specializes in industrial floor coatings, and its subsidiaries in Asia and South America.
In 2018, PMH acquired Oskar Nolte GmbH, a leading manufacturer of industrial wood coatings for wood-based panels and expanded its business in 2019 with the acquisition of a business unit from AkzoNobel (film coatings).
Stephan Klumpp remains managing director while Dr. Wolfgang Klumpp moves into an advisory board position.
In addition to his role as CEO of Oskar Nolte, Arne Deussen will strengthen the management board of Klumpp.
“When choosing a suitable partner, the focus was on stability and continuity for our customers and employees. With PMH we clearly see this long-term perspective and retain all advantages of a flexible, medium-sized environment with short decision-making paths," Stephan Klumpp said.
“For our customers, this means broader access to innovations and - especially in uncertain times - even more production reliability due to our access to additional manufacturing locations," added Arne Deußen, managing director of Oskar Nolte. "Also, this provides additional development opportunities for our employees within a strong group."
