CHINACOAT 2020 was held in Guangzhou, China from Dec. 8-10.
Due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, many exhibitors failed to participate in the offline exhibition.
To meet the needs of these exhibitors, organizers had set up an "Online Exhibition Zone" as the virtual and real communication interface between online and on-site.
Even the exhibitors who failed to go to Guangzhou in person could still participate in the event.
The online virtual edition offered several interactive functions with exhibitors, including a live broadcast of exhibitors, online consultation and product display.
The exhibitors and visitors who participated in the offline exhibition also wore masks.
Some visitors from high-risk areas also provided proof of negative nucleic acid tests.
Due to the global effect of the pandemic, the exhibition was mainly comprised of Chinese coating suppliers and some multinational companies.
There were almost no overseas companies and the participants of multinational companies were domestic or long-term residents of China.
Although the number of visitors was not as high as in previous years, the flow of people from the major booths was still in a constant stream, which also shows that the coating and coating industry practitioners are full of confidence in the future coating market.
Li Zhi, general manager of TRUSTCHEM, had a pleasant exchange with the participants at the event.
"With the continuous improvement of the situation of epidemic prevention and control in China, the domestic organic pigment market has recovered steadily," he said. "Although the export of organic pigments is still affected by the epidemic situation abroad, with the production of a new plant in Liaoning next year, TRUSTCHEM will continue to make unremitting efforts to overcome all difficulties and provide customers with high-quality products and services."
