Effect pigment manufacturer ECKART said it has successfully maintained prices for its metallic pigments, metallic concentrates, dispersions and printing inks as well as pearlescent pigments at a stable level in recent years.
This stability was achieved through a series of efficiency improvement measures to counteract general and specific cost increases, according to the company.
However, due to the recent above-average increases in chemical, transport and packaging costs, the effect pigment manufacturer said it is now also forced to increase its prices.
As a result, ECKART will adjust prices on products and services for all orders starting March 1, 2021.
