Coval Technologies has partnered with natural stone cleaning and restoration industry expert Robert Falzone and his company RFSC Worldwide to release Coval Stone.
Coval Stone creates a coating that is virtually permanent, will stop acid etching on all calcium carbonate natural surfaces like limestone and marble, as well as resists stains and scraping.
Coval’s products range from single component, thin film, clear sealers, and coatings with scratch resistance that can covalently bond to most substrates including marble, granite, and other hard architectural surfaces.
“We are thrilled to announce this partnership with Robert Falzone and his company RFCS worldwide,” said Coval Technologies founder Ryan Crowe. “Robert is well known in the stone cleaning and restoration industry and is one of only few approved instructors for the [Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification] IICRC in the field of Stone, Masonry and Tile Certifications (SMT) in the entire world.”
Stronger than conventional stone coatings, according to the company, Coval Stone freezes a natural stone surface in tine and absorbs all sorts of damage over a very long period of time that can be easily re-coated after excessive wear.
In addition to Coval Stone, Coval Natural Look Sealer is a natural looking, penetrating, hydrophobic sealer with an electrified polymer that prevents mold, mildew, and algae activity on a variety of porous surfaces.
“This perfect combination of products will be invaluable in the stone restoration industry. Not everyone wants a coating on their natural stone, so we can offer them a ‘natural look’ impregnating product that is hydrophobic to repel stains in addition to containing an EPA-approved ingredient that is a known deterrent to various fungi,” said Falzone.
Coval Stone and Coval Natural Look Sealer is now offered through the Coval Stone Certification Course, more information can be found on Robert Falzone’s website.
