RadTech, the Association for Ultraviolet and Electron Beam (UV+EB) technologies, announced the recent addition of Perri Katzman, Ph.D. to its operations team.
Dr. Katzman was brought aboard to increase participation and global awareness of RadTech’s forthcoming conferences and events. She will play a pivotal role in strategically expanding the industry's reach into new application areas through research and targeted communications.
Her responsibilities encompass event planning and execution, as well as leading initiatives that drive UV+EB industry growth and engagement.
"As the industry explores new frontiers in coil coatings, batteries, and additive manufacturing, the demand for cutting-edge UV+EB technologies has never been greater. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Katzman to the RadTech team, where her expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation and advancing the adoption of these transformative technologies across these emerging sectors," says Mickey Fortune, associate executive director at RadTech.
Since earning her doctorate in psychology from New York University, Dr. Katzman has collaborated with RadTech to increase public awareness and understanding of UV+EB technologies. She has interviewed several RadTech members about how their companies utilize UV and EB.
A forthcoming series of resulting articles will synthesize and simplify the technical explanations into digestible pieces that highlight the importance and ubiquity of UV+EB technologies. In her new role as events and marketing specialist, Dr. Katzman will continue to bridge the gap between scientific advancement and public understanding.
