BASF, a year to the day after announcing its partnership with Landa Labs, held an exclusive media call to discuss its new eXpand! RED EH 3424 pigment for the automotive coatings market.
“This is the first product of a new generation of products,” said Paul Verhoeven, eXpand! business leader at BASF.“These products are based on totally new technology.”
The first stir-in pigment for automotive coatings will be on display at the American Coatings Show, which is slated for April 10-12 in Indianapolis.
“We focused on developing pigments in new forms,” Verhoeven said. “We have the ability to make and produce pigments and supply them in a different form.”
