Pantone unveiled its 2021 Colors of the Year: "Ultimate Gray," and "Illuminating."
According to Pantone, PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating (a bright, cheery shade of yellow) are “two independent colors that come together to create an aspirational color pairing, conjoining deeper feelings of thoughtfulness with the optimistic promise of a sunshine-filled day.”
Much like Pantone’s rationale for choosing its colors, Curator, a premium paint brand originating from Ireland, developed its palette to channel the feeling and story of Ireland’s culture.
Curator features a palette of 144 stunning colors, developed in collaboration with 29 Irish artisans, jewelers, designers.
Curator’s palette provides the same energy to one’s space as Pantone’s Colors of the Year.
Optimist, a bright shade of yellow and aptly named, brings the ability to uplift and inspire.
Broken Slate, a leaden hue of grey, takes root from the slates of stately homes or ruins of castles across the Irish landscape.
