CHICAGO, Illinois, Mar. 22, 2019. –Engineered Polymer Solutions (EPS) showcased its innovative polymer technologies for the construction and industrial markets at the European Coatings Show.
EPS®719 is an all-acrylic emulsion designed to minimize asphalt bleed-through in cool roof coatings while maintaining flexibility and toughness. Some key attributes of this product are:
• Flexible at temperatures as low as -10°C
• Adhesion to asphalt, PVC, metal and other common roofing substrates
• Dirt pickup resistance
• UV light resistance
• Excellent toughness with both high tensile strength and elongation
• Can be used in both base coat and top coat formulations
EPS®595 is a versatile and robust non-APEO acrylic copolymer in water for the formulation of direct-to-metal coatings. Key attributes of this product are:
· Excellent corrosion resistance
· Multiple substrate adhesion
· Early water resistance
Thebooth also featured products for architectural and wood coatings, such as EPS®747, an acrylic copolymer for both interior and exterior trim paints and specialty masonry topcoats.
