Inver Spa is engaged in the manufacture of industrial liquid and powder coatings with 2011 sales revenue of $217 million. The sale of powder coatings made up 70 percent of Inver’s sold quantities with 10 percent of that attributable to architectural powder sales. Liquid industrial coatings sales generated 20 percent, while liquid architectural and non-automotive OEM segments each contributed ten percent each. Back in 2008 Inver acquired Becker Powder Coatings’ four European production plants located in France, UK, Poland and Italy. This acquisition doubled the scale of Inver’s powder business and made it the fourth largest producer in the European powder market. Inver operate five production sites and three subsidiaries. Inver Spa operates five manufacturing facilities and is based in Bologna, Italy.
