Chugoku Marine Paints manufactures paint for ship, industrial and containers uses, as well as adhesives. The company recently completed construction of a new factory in the Netherlands for producing marine coatings. The 3,600 m2 facility has a production capacity of 1,000 metric tons per month and the total investment was approximately 2.8 billion yen.
Chugoku Marine Paints and Berger Paints have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation and collaboration in the fields of marine and related industrial paints in India.The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) envisages joint efforts in marketing, supplying and purchasing marine related industrial paints. Subsequently, the parties have a view of establishing a joint venture company as their final objective.
