Jeffrey Klang, global R&D director - 3D printing for Sartomer – a business unit of Arkema Inc. – was elected to the board of directors of RadTech, a nonprofit trade association that supports UV and EB technologies.
“Jeff’s strong leadership of Sartomer’s innovation and R&D initiatives supports the evolving needs of UV and EB processors in diverse industries, such as 3D printing, coatings, graphic arts, adhesives, sealants, elastomers and electronics,” said Kenny Messer, president of Sartomer Americas. “His deep understanding of UV/EB technologies, markets and regulatory requirements will make him an asset to RadTech’s board of directors.”
Previously, Klang was manager of Coatings Platform R&D for Sartomer and spent several years as manager of product development.
Klang has worked in the chemical industry for over 29 years, serving in various R&D roles. He is an inventor with more than 20 U.S. patents and has published numerous articles in trade and scientific journals.
