This latest issue of Coatings World is our European Coatings Show (ECS) and Conference issue. We are once again excited to be a part of the largest show for paint and coatings in Europe.

This biennial show attracted more than 30,000 trade visitors from over 107 countries and 1,135 exhibiting companies in 2017 and expectations are high for this year’s show.

The European Coatings Show and Conference will be held March 18-21 in Nuremberg.
As we have done in the past, the Coatings World team will be both exhibiting and reporting live from the show floor.

CEO Forum

Our Annual CEO Forum (p. 54) offers insight from the top players in the coatings industry from companies such as PPG and Hempel.

In addition, we have included some small-medium sized coatings companies. Their leaders can offer a unique perspective on how smaller companies can take advantage of niche markets and thrive in a highly competitive market.

This year’s forum includes companies from North America, Europe and Asia. I’d like to thank all the CEOs who took the time to participate and I’d also like to welcome first-timers: Daniel Llinas Salá, CEO, Titan Lux (Spain), Tetsushi Tado, CEO, Nippon Paint (Japan) and Armodios Yannidis, CEO, Vitex (Greece).
