The Mipa Group is strengthening its presence in Switzerland: On June 30, 2025, Mipa Lacke + Farben AG in Kriessern and Mipa Coatings Schweiz AG in Islikon will merge with retroactive effect from 1 January 2025. The merger aims to strengthen Mipa Group’s market position in Switzerland through a uniform appearance under the name Mipa Coatings Schweiz and to optimally utilize synergies.
This merger combines the strengths of both locations. While Kriessern specializes primarily in the sale of automotive coatings and non-paints, the focus in Islikon is on the industry and security and defense business areas. Both locations and the respective teams will remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless continuation of the previous collaboration.
“We hope that the merger will not only give us greater market penetration and awareness but also enable us to harmonize our processes even better. Our aim is to offer our customers in Switzerland an even better service,” said Steffen Schmid, sales manager and member of the Executive Board.
