Russian Coatings has been gradually increasing its sales volume. In 2012 the growth of sales volume was 9.1 percent. The production volume amounted to 96 percent in tons due to the sales decrease of decorative-building materials based on organic solvents. Considerable growth of water material sales volume allowed this business to keep the volume of realization at the level of last year. BRITE Hausweiss products (made with Teflon technology) and PREMIA products (antimicrobic paint with ions of silver) saw growth. Automobile OEM business also increased its sales volume by 16 percent. The process of localization of OEM materials for the Dupont Russian Coatings JV is one of the strategic goals of the further development of this business. The share of localized products in the volume of automotive paints in 2012 constituted 84 percent.
