Axalta Coating Systems held its first quarterly 2016 Commercial Transportation Business Council meeting from January 6 – 8 in Dallas, Texas.
Commercial Transportation Business Council members kicked-off the New Year with a strategy review, followed by a discussion on paint and materials reporting and welcomed a new member. Axalta managers presented information on new Axalta products, strategic marketing programs, enhanced services and color developments. Representatives from Mitchell International, the manufacturer of TruckEst, provided information on their automated estimating system for medium and heavy-duty trucks. The meeting concluded with a tour of the Peterbilt manufacturing facility located in Denton, Texas. For decades, Peterbilt has used Axalta Imron® Elite in the production of its premium-quality heavy-duty trucks.
“I am excited about the caliber of guest speakers and content we are continually able to secure for our meetings. In addition, it is so refreshing to have our voice heard by the various companies who present at our meetings,” said Mike Anderson, Axalta Business Council Facilitator and owner of Collision Advice. “We continue to raise the levels of quality and efficiency for the aftermarket painting and refinishing of commercial vehicles.”
