MFG Chemical added to its domestic and international customer service and logistics staff.
Having hired international and customer service professional Kim Curtis earlier this year, MFG Chemical has now added logistics expert April Goins to the domestic service team.
Goins brings experience in negotiating the best freight rates and tracking shipments, saving customers’ time and money.
Before joining MFG Chemical, she developed her skills as a logistics coordinator and team manager at Universal Marketing Systems and Beaulieu Commercial. Goins has earned numerous certifications in customer service and leadership.
“The addition of a logistics expert like April Goins will help MFG Chemical in reaching its goal of providing the best customer service and logistics in the specialty and custom chemical industry," said Melanie West, MFG Chemical director of Supply Chain.
MFG Chemical has also implemented its operational excellence software program OESuite.
OESuite improves information and workflow management resulting in better organizational alignment, production operations, risk assessment and mitigation, maintenance and employee safety.
Additionally, MFG Chemical celebrated International Customer Service Week (Oct. 7-11) under the theme, “The Magic of Service.” The company held team building exercises and wrote "thank you" letters to its valued customers.
“It’s wonderful that MFG takes the time to show appreciation to its front line service members who are providing world-class service and to show appreciation to our customers for their support in 2019 and loyalty going into 2020," Curtis said.
“We appreciate our customers and strive every day to add value to our customers’ end-use products by providing the highest quality, performance-enhancing chemistries and deliver them in the safest and most cost-efficient way through a dedicated and highly professional customer service and logistics team," said Keith Arnold, president and CEO of MFG Chemical and member of the SOCMA Board of Governors.
