Applied Graphene Materials announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Manho Polymers Co. Ltd.
The agreement further extends AGM’s commercial focus directly into the coatings and polymers sectors across South Korea.
Manho Polymers is a chemical distributor in South Korea.
The agreement enables AGM to access the fourth largest coatings market in the Asia region, estimated in 2018 to be producing in excess of 900 million liters of paint annually, with a market value of more than $4.6 billion per year.
AGM and Manho Polymers have an exclusive agreement that will see the two companies collaborate on customer opportunities and introduce AGM's proprietary Genable graphene dispersions technology into the South Korean coatings and broader liquid resins markets.
“The agreement with ManHo Polymers in South Korea represents further major progress in the development of our global network of specialist distributors to our key customer market sectors," said Adrian Potts, CEO of AGM. "AGM’s strategy is to partner with outstanding, skilled, distribution companies with the right technical understanding and capability to effectively support customer engagement around our innovative graphene nanoplatelet technology."
