Briolf added some key acquisitions recently, beginning in February 2022 with IMPA CAR srl, a Treviso, Italy-based specialist in polyester and epoxy fillers for multiple sectors as refinish, industry, wood repair, marble and stone. In November, Briolf acquired Areco Italia SPA, Milan, Italy. Areco Italia produces aerosol paint for DIY, decorative, automotive and industrial applications, and had $32 million in sales in 2022.
In July 2023, Briolf acquired 100% of the company INTEC, also from Italy, a leader in the automotive refinishing paint market. INTEC offers putties, pastes and adhesives for the composite materials sector, which can be used for building ships or wind turbines.
Briolf Group’s brands include Roberlo (car refinish and industrial coatings); Cromaresme (glass coatings); Montana Colors (street art and decoration); and Chemfix (construction and wood adhesives). The company also has two private label brands: Areco, aerosol paints for decoration, and Impacar, for construction, wood and automotive. The company employs approximately 950 people.
Briolf Group closed 2022 with growth close to 25% and reached a turnover of more than €190 million. The expectation for 2023 is to exceed €250 million.
