TOA Paint recently unveiled its GREEN MISSION policy plan, reaffirming its position as the number one leader in the integrated architectural paint and construction material market with a tangible roadmap to achieve Net Zero by 2050 in order to integrate a sustainable organization in line with the ESG principles, reinforcing its success with the highest Carbon Footprint Reduction Label or Global Warming Reduction Label (CFR) among architectural paint products, totaling 40 products, and set to grow strongly into its 60th year.
Chatuphat Tangkaravakoon, CEO of TOA Paint, noted that the problem of climate change is a crisis that has an impact on the world and humanity.
“The resolution of the COP28 meeting at the end of 2023 clearly emphasized the agreement that all sectors must help maintain the average global temperature level not to exceed 1.5 degrees Celsius," Tangkaravakoon said. "This is because this year's report states that the gap in greenhouse gas emissions is still 1.2% higher than last year, causing it to face the highest global warming in history.
"As a market leader and industrial sector of paint manufacturers in Thailand and ASEAN throughout the 60 years, we have been committed to conducting business that prioritizes consumer health and cares for the environment. Therefore, we are the first paint manufacturer in Thailand to successfully eliminate the use of heavy metals, mercury, and lead in building paints since 1977. We also continue to develop and create innovative paints that are safe, health-conscious, and environmentally friendly.”
