APC Appoints New ChemLine Coatings Global Rail & Transport Sales Manager

Advanced Polymer Coatings (APC), a world-wide leader in high performance coatings for industrial and marine applications based here, has named James R. DeChant as ChemLine Coatings Global Rail & Transport Sales Manager.

In this new role, Mr. DeChant will be responsible for ChemLine® coating sales and business development activities serving the transportation industries. This will encompass specialty linings for different types of transportation equipment including rail tank cars and hopper cars, over-the-road truck tankers, barge tankers, and intermodal product tanks.

Advanced Polymer Coatings offers a range of unique polymer-based linings based on the ChemLine brand name, that deliver exceptional performance features for transportation equipment including superior chemical resistance and cargo carrying versatility.
Prior to joining APC, Mr. DeChant worked for nearly 40 years in the paints and coatings industry in a range of business development, product management, marketing, and sales roles for a number of leading companies. Mr. DeChant is a graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.
