Axalta Coating Systems partnered with Central Aluminum Supply for the JR Motorsports’ No. 9 Axalta Chevrolet paint scheme.
Central Aluminum Supply will be featured as the primary sponsor on the car's hood during Saturday's race at Dover International Speedway.
The No. 9 Chevy is driven by William Byron, who owns three NASCAR Xfinity Series wins this season and will move to the Cup series to drive the No. 24 car for Hendrick Motorsports next year.
Central Aluminum Supply, a seamless gutter and rain-ware manufacturer and wholesale distributor, serves the residential and commercial markets in New Jersey, Maryland, eastern New York (and Long Island), Delaware, northern Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Central Aluminum offers a comprehensive color selection, large product line, and gutter machine sales and maintenance.
The company recently opened a 21,000-square-foot facility in Paterson, N.J. The newest of Central Aluminum’s three locations, the Paterson site stocks all products and manufactures three profiles of gutters on-site.
Central Aluminum Supply plans to open a fourth location in the Washington D.C. area in 2019.
“We enjoy partnering with companies like Central Aluminum Supply, who do an outstanding job listening to and understanding the needs of their customers,” said Mike Cash, president of Industrial Coatings at Axalta. “Similar to the traits that make William Byron and the No. 9 car a success, Central Aluminum supply is able to react with speed and agility, while maintaining great quality. It's these shared values that make great partnerships.”
“We depend on Axalta’s products for all of our coil coating needs because their durable, quality finish stands up to harsh exterior environments and helps us maintain our reputation of high quality seamless gutter and rain-ware products,” said Pete McElvogue, president of Central Aluminum.
