Mark Macus on Sept. 1, will succeed Andreas Herzog as Bühler's CFO.
Herzog, 61, will retire after 17 years as CFO. Macus, 47, previously worked at Bühler for five years and is currently the Vitra Group's CFO.
“Withdrawing from the CFO position of Bühler after 17 years is an emotional moment for me. Bühler is a unique organization, in which the family spirit is still alive. But the company must renew itself permanently, and this also impacts my own function,” Herzog said.
“Mark Macus... possesses vast experience, knows the challenges of the capital goods industry, and is thoroughly familiar with Bühler," Bühler CEO Stefan Scheiber added.
