PPG and DuraPaint, an applicator of liquid spray coatings, are working to provide bed dividers paramount in the construction of the Joseph Brant Hospital pop-up, 93-bed pandemic response unit in Burlington, Ontario.
The unit will house patients with mild to moderate symptoms of the coronavirus, who would overwhelm the current hospital during the virus peak in the next two weeks
The project is locked into a 14-day race against COVID-19.
Durapaint and PPG are coating the metal dividers with PPG’s Duracron in white, a one-coat thermosetting acrylic baking enamel providing corrosion resistance, fil integrity, color control and impact and mar resistance, along with other parts of the project.
