"HSN is a natural partnership for us and our products. Women all over the country rely on HSN for innovative and easy-to-use solutions that solve difficult problems — and that's what we provide," said founder Amitha Verma.
The Amitha Verma Transform system is a rewarding home project that transforms old, dull, even ugly furniture into masterpieces — with zero sanding, stripping or prep work. Efficiency and affordability were top of mind for the entrepreneur when she worked with chemists to create this unprecedented furniture paint formula.
"I see the potential in everything. I have had a desk that my husband inherited from his grandmother for several years that I wasn't very fond of but he insisted on keeping it. I painted and dark waxed it and now it is one of my favorite pieces," said Susi Haveman of Houston.
Verma's decade-long experience as an award-winning interior designer and owner/curator of one of Houston's largest furniture and antique stores sets her brand apart.
"I've worked with my design clients who wanted a new look without having to buy new furniture. Customers wanted to reproduce the look of classic, European-style painted furniture and decor, but the process was practically impossible. Our paint solves these two problems," she added.
Amitha Verma Transform will debut on HSN February 12. Viewers will get an exclusive, fully-loaded kit, including the top five customer-favorite paint colors, easy-to-use tools, detailed instructions, inspirations and video tutorials.
